Dear clients we report directly to you delivery, availability, status of development and possible problems to prevent wrong information which probably get dispersed by other media.
The expansion of our product range is very important to us. Not less important is the prevention of errors.
Quality and reliability is the mayor priority of our products.
Thank you all for your hints and tips which we have incorporated in our developments. We have, for example, changed fundamentally the design of our new 6-channel receiver "clever" after the first presentation and placed the pins away from the motherboard to the front side.
We will inform you further about the following developments as soon as possible. Sincerely your weatronic team
advance notice ! Software Update
We have detected a little problem that we have to fix. We got a problem with the Flashing Code with the C-Type. We are really sorry about it, but we will have delay until the delivery of the software package to 25th June 2010.
Below an example of the improvements:
-Speech for the Vario system. -Speech for the GPS. -Telemetry protocol implemented for 60 sensors. -Logging of sensor data -Version check of the used receiver and transmitter -No twitch at modern servos with receiver ON only -No servo twitch when overdriving -With missing Failsafe everything gets switched to "Hold" when there are disturbances -Multi-module and support Multinaut -Slave receiver for multi-module receiver without cable (two receivers, one transmitter) -Sensibility adjusted to normal operate conditions -Improved handling of binding -Gyro receiver enabled to normal Gyro operating -expanded GigaControl
We hope all our clients understand that we have to take another 9 days, but we want to please you with the delivered functionality.
To meet the expected onslaught of updates we request our clients to order the necessary cables and SD-cards etc. We will offer a update package which will be found in the shop these days.
All the new receivers and transmitters will be supplied with this release. The new update will make functions like telemetry, speech output, Vario and GPS possible. Because of the big amount of new functions it will not be possible to make a crosslink between old and new firmware.
All tests are running at full speed. We are glad about the success that our testers Thomas Höchstmann (1.) and Florian Schambeck(4.) had at the German Sail-drag championship. Congratulations!
Florian Schambeck used our newest software, Vario and GPS and was very happy with it.
New Weatronic® 8 Channel receiver "Smart" and Weatronic® 8 Channel receiver "Smart" with gyro
|
|
-Technical data: -length x width x height: -62,5mm x 25,3mm x 17,1mm -Weight: approximately 15g(9g net) with gyro approximately 16g
The current situation in Europe is a good working and approved pre-series. At the moment the production of the case is giving us some problems. The construction is completed, however, depending on the blooming business cycle the remaining manufacturers of casting cases are fully booked up.
We have now found a partner who satisfies our quality demands and together we are starting the production of the tools.
All tools are jet in the final stage of the construction and should not give any reasons for more delays.
We expect the start of production at 15 July 2010.

New Weatronic® 6 Channel receiver "Clever"
|
|
-Technical data: -length x width x height: -42,2mm x 24,1mm x 13,1mm -Weight: approximately 9g(5g net)
Our smallest receiver is running currently as a pre-production prototype and is doing quite well. The approvement process starts 19th. May 2010. We got the same case problems as with the "Smart" receiver. But we will try to link (with a parallel run) the beginning of sales of both receivers, so that we can launch them 3 months earlier as we planned.
The testers will complete their EU tests at the end of the week. The FCC test starts next week.

GPS Module
|
|
-Technical data: -length x width x height: -32,6mm x 32,5mm x 15,5mm -Weight: approximately 19g
The following values are available via voice and as a LOG file:
-Height in meters (feet). -Speed in Km/h; m/s; m/h. -Distance in meters or feet (Slope Distance). -Course in degrees. -Position in 47.723159, 10.28286
Warning thresholds can be defined to max. and min. values of height, speed and distance. Our GPS can be used with any of our receivers and with our LINK Vario.
Our GPS module is running as a pre-series and is getting tested by us, reaching wonderful results. But again the launching is linked to the case producer, and we simply cannot shrink it because it works with 2 boards.

Weatronic® LINK Vario
|
|
Our LINK Vario is already getting tested and giving good impressions. The sound is great and the response works without problems. The case is already in production. We are discussing about releasing a preliminary version without case.
The decision has been taken: we will not give a release with a shrinking tube, because our case producer is completing sooner than expected.
